Now you can apply for Formas’ Annual open call
You can now submit your application to our largest call. In the Formas Annual open call, you as a researcher can formulate your own question.
In the Annual open call, we welcome applications within our three areas of responsibility – environment, agricultural sciences and spatial planning. The purpose of the Annual open call is to enable researchers to formulate their own research questions. Applications can be of a social science, humanities, natural science or engineering/technical nature, and can also cross disciplinary boundaries and between research and society.

The call closes for applications, 8 April at 14.00.
Formas’ Scientific Council is expected to reach a decision on 25 November 2021 concerning which projects will be granted funding.
