MariFish

The MariFish project brings together the major European national funding agencies of marine fisheries research. The aim is to form an effective partnership to increase the coordination of fisheries research on European and regional level. The project will run for a five year period and concerns research on fisheries and fisheries management, with the aim of creating a network of funding agencies for fisheries and fisheries research in Europe. The goal is to bring about greater coordination of research at European and regional level and to make a joint call for applications for research funds some time in the final phase of the project. MariFish extends from 2006 until 2011.
