ERABUILD/ERACOBUILD

ERABUILD is a network the aim of which is to establish a platform for research collaboration in the construction and property sector among a number of r&d programmes. What is common to the participating programmes is that they address sustainable development in construction and building management, and that IT is used as a communication tool. From Sweden, the participants are Formas and BIC, Construction Sector Innovation Centre. The programme extends over the period 2004-2007.

In 2008 the net work continues within a subsequent project called ERACOBUILD, coordinating national RDI programmes in the field of "construction and operation of buildings". ERACOBUILD is gathering 33 programme owners or managers from 16 EU Member States, 4 Associated Countries and 1 Western Balkan Country.
