Research strategies and research programmes
In the Appropritation Document which the Government annually issues to Formas, the research council is given tasks such as the development of research strategies and research programmes, reviews of existing knowledge, and evaluations in certain areas.
Formas has developed a number of research strategies and national research programmes since it was established in 2001. A list of these is given below.
