Last day of application: 11/01/2017
Day of decision: 10/03/2017
IIASA’s annual 3-month Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP) in Austria offers research opportunities to about 50 talented PhD students whose interests correspond with IIASA’s ongoing research on real life global issues such as climate change, energy, food and water, economics and poverty.
The Summer Program offers a wide range of scientific events, including both social and natural sciences, often with important policy dimensions.
On-line applications for the 2017 program will be accepted on IIASA's webpage from October 1, 2016 until January 11, 2017.
Students at Swedish universities, who will be accepted to YSSP, may apply for scholarships from the Swedish Research Council Formas to cover travel and accommodation.
Candidates will be informed about acceptance of their applications by IIASA on March 10, 2017.
