How to get funding from Formas
Apply for grants
To be eligible to apply to Formas for funding, the main applicant must have a Doctoral degree. Applications for information projects or for organising conferences, symposia and workshops are exceptions to this rule.

Grants that can be applied for consecutively
Here you can find information concerning the grants which can be applied for consecutively and which usually have no final date by which applications must be submitted, such as urgent grants, travel allowances, grants for conferences and seminars, etc.
Formas cooperates with several international organisations. Some of these hold regular grant competitions for researchers.
