Formas invites researchers to apply for a grant for the planning of projects within the 7th EU Framework Programme for Research, with thematic focus corresponding to the research strategy and general focus of Formas.

The Embassy of France in Sweden and the French-Swedish Association for Research are launching with the support of L'Oréal Sverige AB an open call for the second edition of a national prize, with the aim to reward the scientific contributions from young researchers (PhD students or postdoctoral fellows) in the above mentioned areas.
Swedish social science research within the area of sustainable development has much to offer international research and society. External funding within the area has increased fourfold over the last ten years, but to realise the full potential of the research new ideas, courageous initiatives and commitments are required from all of the stakeholders.
